Shopmobility Services in Solihull

If you find walking around the shops difficult or impossible, Shopmobility is here to help. There are 2 Shopmobility schemes operating in the borough.

  • Solihull Town Centre, in Touchwood, which is run by a charitable company
  • Shirley Shopmobility, located at Shirley Library. This service is closing on December 23 2015

Manual wheelchairs and powered wheelchairs are available. Powered scooters are also available.

Shopmobility in Touchwood

The Touchwood Shopmobility service is free to use. You need to be a member to use the Shopmobility service in Touchwood.

There are no hire fees for wheelchairs, scooters or other equipment. Opening times vary through the week and at weekends. You should book in advance to make sure the equipment you need is available. To book:

Ring and Ride users will be taken to the turning circle in Manor Square at the rear of Touchwood. Your equipment will be brought to you.
