Community Advice Hubs

Community Advice Hubs in Chelmsley Wood Library and Solihull Connect at The Core in Solihull town centre are available every week day to discuss and support your needs and the needs of the person you care for.

You can contact the hubs by:

  • sending an email to admin@solihullcommunityhub.org.uk
  • calling 0121 705 3588
  • dropping in Monday to Friday North Solihull from 10.00am to 2.00pm and Monday to Friday South Solihull 10.00am to 4.00pm
  • on Friday's at North Solihull the services that are currently operating from the Hub will continue to do so, this is Independent Advocacy and Midland Heart

Hubs for information, advice and support

The 2 Community Advice Hubs bring together a partnership of local organisations. They provide high quality information, advice and support to help you find and use the services you want for your care needs.

If you are an adult over 18 years old and permanently live in Solihull, you can use the service to find help to:

  • meet your own needs and circumstances
  • meet the needs of the person you care for
  • find solutions to your issues
  • make referrals to services on your behalf

Your visit to a Solihull Community Advice Hub

Any adult who lives full time in Solihull can visit the hubs for information, advice and support. You will have what is called a holistic assessment, which considers every aspect of your life.

A visit to your local hub will introduce you to organisations in Solihull and around the local area that provide services to meet your individual needs or the needs of the person you care for.

You can visit the hubs in person, with a friend or family member, a loved one or your carer. Carers can also visit the hubs for face to face information and advice from the highly trained staff.

You can also simply drop in to the hubs. If it is busy though, you may need to make an appointment to come back later. The 2 hubs are open through the year:

  • Monday to Friday South Solihull 10.00am to 4.00pm
  • Monday to Thursday North Solihull 09.30am to 2.30pm with telephone access to Solihull HUB @ The Core on Fridays

Most services will be available at the hubs by making an appointment or when you drop in to your local hub.

Community Advice Hub services and support

Each hub brings together, under the same roof, a partnership of organisations from the Solihull community and voluntary action groups.

The hubs are presented and managed by Age UK Solihull, with support from a range of organisations, including:

  • DIAL Solihull
  • SIAS Solihull Integrated Addiction Services
  • Carers Trust Solihull
