Working in partnership with Solihull Council, SCH Wellbeing delivers a range of services designed to keep you happy, healthy, independent, and safe in your own home.

If your mobility around the home isn't what is used to be Home Adaptations can make life that little bit easier. Ranging from minor works (such as the installation of hand-rails) to large scale changes (such as an extension) we can help make you're home feel like home again.
Our SCH Wellbeing Home Support service can provide a support package that’s tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. From needing 24/7 on call assistance to just wanting advice on accessing local services. Home Support can enable you to live your life your way.
Safe and Sound
If you have an older or vulnerable loved one, knowing their one push of a button away from help provides security and peace of mind. The Safe and Sound pendant alarm service provides a direct route to assistance 24 hours a day, every day.
Our Emergency Response team provide a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service. We aim to respond to an emergency situation within 45 minutes.
Assistive technology and Telecare
Assistive technology and Telecare enables independent living by utilising useful gadgets. Assistive technology and Telecare can be deployed in any area of the home (bedroom, bathroom or kitchen) and is an affordable alternative for individuals who would have otherwise required some level of care.
Home Hazard Checks
If you need advice or are worried about a loved one, our SCH Wellbeing Home Hazard Check can take the stress out of living at home by identifying potential risks and hazards. Our Trusted Assessors can arrange for the removal of any risks via our Handyperson Service.
If you’re not able to do those little jobs around the home anymore our SCH Wellbeing Handyperson Service can take care of them for you. Whether it’s shelving or even changing a light bulb, our Handyperson team provide a service you can trust.
The Better Living Centre
The Better Living Centre in Solihull works to provide help and support to elderly adults, young disabled adults and carers. It gives free and impartial advice from trained staff and demonstrations of useful gadgets, adaptations and equipment.
